Most fans have read the entire Twilight series and will be eagerly awaiting the movie release of Twilight: Eclipse, so this book gives those fans something to interest them in the meantime.

This novella was originally written as a short story but evolved into the book about to be released. The book offers a glimpse into the life of Bree Tanner, a character first seen in Eclipse (and will be shown in the upcoming movie release this summer).

Bree is a newborn Vampire that was created by the evil vampire Victoria to aid her revenge on Edward for the death of her lover James. Her life as titled in the book, is short but portrayed to give Twilight fans an extension to the Twilight saga.
