Wireless Kindle DX to transform UK book market

New Amazon Wireless Kindle DX is set to transform how we read books.
The first Amazon Kindle device was launched in the US and sold in massive numbers, now an improved device has been launched and we in the UK can take advantage.
The Wireless Kindle DX will finally be available in more than 100 countries outside the US from January 19th 2010. The new version has a slick 9.7 inch mono screen but now able to render 16 shades of grey to provide richer graphics although this is a minor addition to a device used for displaying text.
The key feature in the new Kindle DX is its wireless functionality, meaning it can connect and download new books on the go, a feature not available on the former Kindle device. While working like a mobile phone to connect and download books, there are no ongoing data charges to connect and transfer books to your Kindle DX (although you will be charged varying rates for the books you buy). The device can store 3,500 books and is lightweight so a perfect companion for those that like to read on the go.
